Asylum

Hidden in a passage off Hristo Belchev Street in the centre of Sofia, Club Asylum is the city’s most established dedicated gay club today. This LGBT-owned venue covers around 420 m², with a main dance floor plus a separate dark room and playroom. The crowd is a friendly mix of locals and visitors, and the club’s ethos is all about inclusivity, discretion and genuine connection.

Asylum is the home of Gay Parties Sofia, so there’s something on almost every weekend. The monthly calendar includes the signature Gay Party, Couples Night and LesBi Party, along with underwear and fetish nights, drag shows and queer-goth events. DYKES nights are dedicated to the FLINTA* community. Parties usually run on Fridays and Saturdays from 22:00 until around 6 am, and Thursdays bring an earlier, more relaxed evening from 19:00.
